email: email@example.com As our In-House Accountant, Marjorie brings over twenty-five years of financial accounting experience to Peter Grant and Associates. In this role, Marjorie directs all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial analysis and monitoring of our financial performance. In addition to managing the accounting, Marjorie manages our office and its daily operations. Prior to joining the Firm in 2002 Marjorie held a challenging position with Soprovich and Co. as a consultant for our Firm. Marjorie has completed undergraduate courses in Marketing and Financial Accounting and has several years of formal CMA academic training.

In 2011, she completed the 3 year paralegal program at Capilano University and became our newest paralegal. She currently works with Lee Schmidt on Residential School Claims and with Peter Grant on various litigation issues. She also assists Peter with his work on the National Administration Committee created by the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. She is the liaison person for Independent Counsel, a group of approximately 20 law firms across the Country that work on Residential School claims while adhering to the practice standards mandated by the Law Society of Upper Canada. She also manages the administrative work for the Indian Day School Class Action which is currently before the Federal Court of Canada.
